There was a time when there was a Comfort Inn on the corner of 6th and Commerce (I think) and it was a great place to stay. Perhaps invite some middle market hotel chains, such as Courtyard, Choice Brands, Fairfield, etc. to participate with the redevelopment going on in the Trinity redevelopment area. A short walk (or cab ride) up the hill and you'd be in downtown.
