I have a design for a recycle bin that I am working on this week. It looks like an aluminum can, is blue like our home recycle bins are. It can take aluminum and plastic cans and bottles, and will promote recycling everywhere in the city. These bins can be secured to the ground to prevent getting knocked over or stolen, yet are made of poly plastic, so they are very durable and won't get damaged if hit by a car or hit by vandals. I will post a picture of the prototype this week! These bins can be sponsored by local businesses or organizations. This would help with the cost of distribution and wouldn't depend on city funds. I can get these puppies out in a month, we don't have to wait till 2023 for this idea!!! |
