One of the best parts of Christmas in Sundance Square are the school choir concerts. I hope that by 2023 when the downtown plaza is completed and open, there will be more such opportunities for local kids to perform (concerts! plays!) and participate. Not only does it give them a sense of civic pride and community involvement, but they bring with them family members from all parts of the city. I'd love to see something like a poster contest for students' ideas about downtown displayed publicly.
