I hate that the only real acknowledgement I have seen of HHA is in front of the Convention Center. While some people may want to exercise that part of Fort worth's history, I think 's Half Acre is something to embrace and acknowledge as a part of what made this town what it is. Sure, some of the things that happened there are gritty and not for the kids but it is a part of Fort Worth that should not be left to rot under the water gardens and the convention center. I have read some of the old articles in the early Fort Worth news papers about the area and it is equal to the lore of Dodge City or Tombstone. The hard part is that the powers accomplished their goal of removing almost every physical trace of the area.
