There are many sports fans in Fort Worth and I believe that we do love a good sports event, even minor ones. I understand that we are in a huge sports market dominated by major sports in nearby cities, thus bringing in minor league teams might not be such a good idea. But how about exhibition games of some of the teams based around the metroplex? A pre-season NBA or NHL game can and will generate enough interest ... how about a TCU basketball game in the convention center for a good match up in the Big 12 or even Arena football?
