Lubbock, Texas has an outstanding "First Friday Art Trail" that spans from Downtown Lubbock into the arts district. Here in town, the Near Southside sponsors Arts Goggle and First Fridays on the Green. What if we took Lubbock's concept and expanded it, truly connecting Downtown Fort Worth with the Near Southside, West 7th, or the Cultural District? There's no reason why these areas of town should compete, but they should take advantage of a wonderful opportunity to come together as one fantastic event that demonstrates community partnership.
