Build a community garden within the urban core and Downtown to improve people’s quality of life by providing a catalyst for community development, social interaction, self-reliance, beautification, and producing local and nutritious food. Produce could be sold at a Downtown farmer's market such as the one recently started by Cowntown Farmers Market. Would also provide an opportunity for education and intergenerational connections.
