When I first moved to Fort Worth, I was shocked that community leaders built a long trail along the river. It's not surprising they would like the economical benefits from something like a "riverwalk" or "waterway," but the river running through Fort Worth is not slow like the one in San Antonio, nor is it man-made, like the one in The Woodlands. Either the city needs to build a fence along the river or find a way to permanently slow down the river sections where there are trails. Once this happens, I'll start hanging out down by the river (and shop, too). Thanks.
