The land between downtown and the stockyards, (Main St.) is being used TERRIBLY right now. It is so hideous and really an eye sore. That road could be used so much better with the right plan/vision. Imagine retail space, dining space, recreational space, well planted trees and well lit, a modern bridge on main, bicycle lanes, sidewalks, trinity river with boats, a new school, expansion of tcc on the other side of the river, signs advertising Cats games, a way different vibe than the one that we have now, I would Never want to be on main street alone at night ever. Change that :). Connect downtown to the stockyards with a pleasant and enjoyable experience. :). maybe even add a trolly line connecting the two. make vintage meet modern :) thanks
