I have a grand vision for turning Jones Street from a patch of asphalt and concrete to a truly useful and beautiful part of downtown Fort Worth.

Consider that many people will be entering downtown via the Fort Worth Intermodal Transportation (train and bus) Center. They are faced with a largely bleak view of mostly surface parking lots. Let's fix that!

Essentially I picture better support for tourists, more trees, more shops, and increased connectivity between resources.

I have broken this vision up into several smaller, more manageable ideas in case one or more are easier to implement than others, and to keep from killing the grand plan outright if some aspect isn't feasible. So let's dig in:

I have linked the various subprojects below (one link is to an area map). Please comment and second; I don't want this to be "my" idea as much as OURS! Your voice is important! I'll also link to the great ideas of others here whose thoughts plug right in.

I will try to add more supporting material as time permits.
