Much like the Haven for Hope center in San Antonio, this center is focused on building a sustainable solution for enriching the lives of impoverished and homeless folks. By addressing the root causes of homelessness, we can enrich the lives of the unfortunate by giving them the social and technical skills to build towards getting back on their two feet, if they choose to do so. The concept is to have a place for homeless people to live and, upon committing to the values of the reform program, they learn different tasks that aid in running the center. The center would partner with local services like Goodwill Tech Repair, Auto shops and other specialized local services to learn the skills needed for a solid job to get back on their feet. Check out the haven for hope site - it's really amazing what they've done and I'd love to be a part doing such a great thing here.
