Help on the Streets

Once the new plaza is up and running, the city might want to consider having on the street volunteers on the weekend. Something like we had during the Super Bowl. I frequently get asked questions by visitors when I am downtown. I also see folks trying to locate items on maps and try to help them out.
For a free t-shirt and maybe food vouchers to downtown restaurants, there would probably be no shortage of folks willing to walk the streets and ride Molly as informational tour guides.

Edit:
The human-side of the volunteer project could be handled much like the volunteer systems for Fort Worth DT Inc. and Bass Hall.
Call for volunteers; mandatory training, shirts/jackets/hats paid for by local business donations, online sign-up for shifts, check-in at the already manned volunteer center, some type of computer program that keeps track of volunteer hours, emailed vouchers to downtown businesses for volunteer hours, call it the Fort Worth Ambassador Program (the same as during the super bowl).

For the computer technology how about a holographic or projected Sundance Kid that talks about Sundance Square and its attractions on the hour or ½ hour. Put the same Sundance personas seen on the DT comic strip on the kiosk.
