One of the ugliest things about downtown are the uninspiring, bland, brutally constructed parking lots. Make them look pretty and have them contribute to downtown aesthetics. Making them green, sustainable or LEED would be awesome. If not, give them a facade that allows them to blend into the surrounding architecture.
