Late night service has been discussed and tried by The T in the past. An 11:30 p.m. service was tested for a few months but the average ridership was less than 5 and the trains frequently ran empty. Given the ridership numbers, the service was discontinued as the TRE prioritizes cost efficient trips and high ridership with its limited resources. However, as the Fort Worth community continues to grow, the T will constantly assess the potential to provide late night service.
