Downtown needs political action to promote positive gentrification. Local governments must favor positive gentrification because of the increased tax base associated with the new residents. Convert the old industrial buildings into residences & shops. Go to Chattanooga, TN. Embrace the trinity river and its possibilities. I know about the Trinity Project, it will take time. Promoting and marketing downtown & Fort Worth as a whole must be elevated to another level, place itself to a higher standard. People in Houston, San Antonio, Austin and all over Texas should be watching commercials on their TV's about the gateway to the west - which is Fort Worth.
