Smoke Free Indoors

Many cities throughout Texas and beyond have taken action to provide clean indoor air for all. Second-hand smoke is dangerous and unpleasant and greatly influences my decisions about where I'll go in Fort Worth.

I recently moved onto 7th Street for the great shops, bars, and restaurants within walking distance, but too many of them allow smoking indoors, so much that now when I see a new place opening I get very excited and then quickly realize that there's a high probability I won't be able to go because they'll probably allow smoking indoors. It's not worth the smelly clothes, hair, and sore throat I'll have by the end of my visit.

Fort Worth is setting a great example for other cities with their biking initiatives and other encouragements for healthy, community involved living. I need my city to step up to the smoke-free challenge, too!
