The Jennings Street Bridge serves as one of the most direct routes from Downtown Fort Worth to the Near Southside. Unfortunately, the bridge itself is not very pedestrian friendly due to a dark, crowded path with low visibility and some sanitary issues. Those wishing to walk to destinations such as Broadway Baptist, Jennings Street Yarns, or the sandwich shop nearby may need to walk through the T&P Terminal to feel comfortable rather than risk it on the Jennings Street Bridge.
