I am a current resident downtown and have recently started a family of my own. We love downtown living and were pleasantly surprised to notice many more families living downtown over the last few years. That said, I think it would be nice to have a kids playground within walking distance of sundance square. A great venue for this might be the panther pavilion park area on the trinity river (down by the TCC/radio shack complex), which already appears to be building up a new park area.
